Past meeting topic:
Ironman/Triathelete John Crawley gave an extensive insight on the Triathlon, which is a race consisting of a swim of 2.4 miles, a 112 mile bike ride, and finally a running marathon of 26.2 miles. After running three Triathlons, John is hoping to qualify for the annual Ironman in Kona.

Past meeting topic:
Guest speakers, Greg and Susie Sanders, informed the Rotarians about their new non-profit project "Care for Kids," which provides help to families of childhood cancer. Every dollar donated to this "Pay it Forward" type of charity goes directly to help a family of a child with cancer.

Past meeting topic:
Connie Partington and Dick Jones presented an excellent program with respect to the Georgetown Memorial Park and Mural, a 2016 Madison Bi-Centennial Project. A one-acre park will be incorporated in Madison to honor the 21 underground railroad operators who assisted in moving slaves North during the mid-1840's. These heroic operators were identified by Dr. Fergus Bordewich in his 2005 underground railroad history, Bound for Canaan.
